The East Africa Food Trade Limited, together with its Tanzanian Business As Mission project partner, has made it its mission to fight world hunger and at the same time give former poverty prostitutes a job. The East African Food Trade Limited opens and runs small rice stores in the slums of Nairobi. The rice is delivered directly from our Tanzanian partner, a rice mill, to the rice stores and distributed by former poverty prostitutes.
Through this concept we manage to offer rice in a good quality at very reasonable prices to a broad population stratum in the slums without creating the negative effects of a free distribution.
